Emily James is a bicoastal actor and filmmaker originally from Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated with a BFA from Cal State University, Fullerton. While in her senior year, she landed her breakout role as the lead in the world premiere of Rajiv Jospeh’s play Mr. Wolf at South Coast Repertory. Since then, she has performed on notable stages all over Southern California, including Geffen Playhouse, A Noise Within, and Rogue Machine Theatre. Her TV credits include NYPD Blue, HBO’s Barry, and STARZ’s Three Women. More recently, Emily wrote and starred in Volition, a gritty action short film inspired by an event in her own life. She is currently a company member of New Orange Theatre in NYC.
